These power rankings do not take into account personal bias, nor are they aligned to our current standings. They are strictly an algorithm based on the value of each team (per dollar spent), how lucky (or unlucky) each team has been, and the total points scored to date. As with the Yankees, if you spend a ton of money, then you should win. And with the Brewers, if you're a small market team, then you shouldn't expect to win. That said, the Pirates, Devil Rays, and A's typically find ways to win (typically), and that's because they truly have good front office personnel. Since Vandy only spent $109M, yet can produce 600 points in a week, he deserves top honors. And you are correct Stuart... your team is too expensive.
